Данная прошивка является ОФИЦИАЛЬНОЙ поставляемой с завода прошивкой для устройств Acorp.

Последняя официальная версия для Acorp 2.5.1. Все более новые версии разработаны исключительно для индивидуальнойго использования без участия Acorp. Устройства с USB на чипе RT3052 выпущены без нашего участия (использована версия ПО только для внутреннего тестирования).

Базовые отличия Wive-NG-RTNL от *WRT:
1) Используется родной ралинковский драйвер wifi, в связи с чем возможно использование всех фирменных фишек радиомодуля, например агрегации пакетов.
2) Поддержка PPE (Hardware Nat) для NAT/PPPOE Offload. (100Мбит в IPOE/PPPOE режимах без существенной нагрузки на CPU)
3) Используется Software Fastpath, что даёт серьёзный прирост производительности. (~30% экономия ресурсов cpu в режимах которые не могут быть обработаны аппаратно PPTP/L2TP).
4) Из коробки работает NAT в локальную сеть одновременно с NAT`ом в VPN (в терминологии D-link – DualAcess, Trendnet – Russian pptp/l2tp) и получение маршрутов с dhcp сервера.
5) Из коробки пропатчена для работы с корбиной и Дом.RU(Эр-Телеком).


Базовые отличия Wive-NG-RTNL от прошивок большинства других вендоров:

1) Относительно свежие драйвера wifi (некрофилия из длинк отдыхает).
2) Выполнены бэкпорты всех критических изменений из основной ванильной ветки ядра с kernel.org.
3) Содержит rwfs раздел в котором лежат все конфиги, что позволяет конфигурировать устройство из консоли как душе угодно.
4) Поддерживает IMQ/HTB/SFQ/ESFQ и т.д. для организации QoS в частности шейпера.
5) Исходные тексты открыты и доступны для модификации.
6) Автодетект объёма RAM позволяет использовать всю память на устройствах с >=16Мб ОЗУ без переконфигурировани и пересборки ядра.
7) Автодетект типа используемого флэша (NOR/SPI/NAND) позволяет работать практически на любом RT305x based устройстве единому образу прошивки (начиная с версии 1.5.5).
8) Поддержка авторизатора сети “Кабинет” (Екатеринбург) позволяет не расходовать процессор на инкапсуляцию pptp для работы с данным провайдером, плюс значительно облегчает настройку (поддерживается начиная с версии 1.3.0 настраивается на странице VPN).

И многое многое другое…. Основной упор делается на стабильную работу в не обслуживаемом режиме при этом сохраняя максимально возможную гибкость за счёт rwfs, доступа к консоли по ssh и скриптовому иниту что позволяет полностью изменить поведение и логику работы устройства удалённо без перепрошивки.

Сразу расставлю все точки над i. Я не ставлю цели наступления коммунизма и не работаю за еду. Поэтому если у вас есть желание что-то увидеть в прошивке то у вас ровно несколько вариантов:
1) Сделать самому и прислать для включения в основную ветку
2) В деталях дать ссылки на техническую инфу по необходимой вам функции (см как это было с dhcp staitic routes) и тогда как только у меня появиться свободная минутка я обязательно посмотрю как можно добавить этот функционал и нужно ли, ну и по возможности добавлю
3) Заплатить мне за разработку (вариант рассматривается при условии что вы производитель оборудования и готовы откупить  человек, меня и вэб разработчика, минимум на несколько месяцев, от частных лиц и заказы менее $2k/мес не имеют смысла по причине и без того большой загруженности)
4) Оплатить разработку тому кто осилит добавить нужный функционал и прислать (или не прислать патч) для включения в основную ветку

Порядок обслуживания запросов:
1) Желающие реализовать что-то самостоятельно но столкнувшиеся с какой-либо проблемой (т.е. люди уже изучившие предмет дабы могли без проблем и без дуалакцессов техническим языком описать что хочется, как должно это работать и что именно не получается в их случае)
2) Желающие научиться и принять участие в проекте (но т.к. я не преподаватель то могу только пнуть в нужном направлении). И есть ещё момент – вантузятнеги идут лесом по определению. Если ваша основная рабочая система Windows – скорее всего вам не стоит этим заниматься.
3) Все остальные включая MS юзеров.

Статус прошивки

Данная прошивка является ОФИЦИАЛЬНОЙ поставляемой с завода прошивкой для устройств Acorp.

ВНИМАНИЕ! Для корректной настройки используйте FireFox/Opera/Chrome (или другие gecko/presto/webkit based браузеры). Под IE возможно непредсказуемое поведение.

Поддержка сторонних устройств может быть исключена в любой момент без каких-либо уведомлений.

Wive-NG-RTNL создана для устройств Acorp WR-150N/WR-300N на чипах RT305x и является официальной прошивкой для этих устройств.

Последняя официальная версия для Acorp 2.5.1. Все более новые версии разработаны исключительно для индивидуальнойго использования без участия Acorp. Устройства с USB на чипе RT3052 выпущены без нашего участия (ипользована версия ПО только для внутреннего тестирования).

Возможность работы этой прошивки на широком спектре устройств благодаря автодетекту флэша, памяти и CPU мой личный подарок пользователям устройств конкурентов.  Это не как не говорит о том, что я буду отвечать на банальные вопросы или заниматься поддержкой пользователей этих устройств. Пожалуйста все свои вопросы задавайте в соответствующих форумах и вам обязательно помогут более подкованные пользователи.

Для работы требуется минимум 4Мб флэша и 32Мб оперативной памяти.

Будьте внимательны. Перед прошивкой убедитесь что ваше устройство собрано именно на Ralink RT305x чипах и имеет достаточный объём оперативной памяти и флэша.

 

Заметки

Текущие показатели производительности для устройств на RT3052 чипе:
PPTP/L2TP – ~70Мбит дуплекса (140Мбит суммарно rx+tx при одновременной загрузрке в обе стороны включая оверхид) – загрузка CPU 100%
IPOE/PPPOE – ~100Мбит дуплекса (200Мбит суммарно rx+tx при одновременной загрузрке в обе стороны включая оверхид) – загрузка CPU 2-5% (на старых ревизиях CPU UDP не обрабатывается аппаратно в PPE как следствие загрузка CPU на UDP может быть значительно выше)

Для RT3050 результаты ниже примерно на 25%

Все измерения проводятся только для проводного сегмента. Драйвер беспроводного модуля дополнительно (в зависимости от pps) потребляет порядка 30% cpu.

Если наблюдаются разрывы соединения L2TP/PPTP при полной утилизации канала торрентами на тарифах около 100мбит для RT3052 и около 70мбит для RT3050 следует:
1) Уменьшать значение CPU limitation до тех пор пока обрывы не исчезнут (после изменения параметра желательно перезагрузить устройство)
2) Ограничить аппетиты торрент клиента в его настройках (лучший вариант)
3) Увеличить значения LCP echo interval и LCP echo failure

C 1.9.6 версии из internet.sh добавлен вызов /etc/wan_up.sh если таковой файл существует. Может быть использован например для загрузки дополнительных маршрутов с сервера ISP (например www.kvidex.ru).

После чего необходимо используя scp загрузить его в директорию /etc роутера, по ssh дать команду fs save && reboot и дождаться полной загрузки.

Данный скрипт будет выполнен после полной конфигурации WAN/LAN до подъёма VPN, если необходимо исполнять скрипты после подъёма vpn используйте /etc/ppp/ip-up

С 1.1.9 версии в состав ПО входит SAMBA WINS/FILESERVER.

Чуть подробнее о WINS и зачем это нужно.

В общем зачем нам файлсервер понятно без объяснений, а вот зачем нужен WINS думаю стоит прояснить. Придется мне таки процитировать ненавистный мне майкрософт, ведь именно им мы обязаны не вписывающимися не в какие стандарты решение, и тут не обошлось без этого. Видети ли, не устроил господ из мелкософта стандартный DNS вот и решили они изобрести, и даже изобрели (в отличии интернета =))) некий собственный сервер имен со своим протоколом (надо заметить достаточно тупым протоколом) и назвали они его WINS. Ну что же т.к. винда в домашних сетях стоит на 90% клиентских машин, то нам Придется воевать и с этим.

Обещанная цитата: «WINS — это реализация стандартов IETF, описывающих способ просмотра системы NetBIOS и разрешение имен в среде протокола TCP/IP, согласно спецификациям RFC 1001 и RFC 1002. Поэтому данная служба обеспечивает не только отображение имен компьютеров и адресов TCP/IP, но также и просмотр сети и определение местоположения служб; эти услуги предоставляются, например, контроллерам доменов и рабочим группам.»

В общем-то как видно это всего лишь сервер имен в microsoft network и в общем-то даже есть какое-то описание в rfc =) Ну да пора закончить лирическое отсупление и рассмотреть зачем же оно нам нужно.

Как происходит обзор сети в сети без WINS сервера? Все очень просто. Каждая машина сети обращается к мастербраузеру у которого храниться (должен храниться) относительно актуальный список имен. Мастер браузер выбирается на «выборах» периодически инициируемых какой-либо системой в сети и побеждает та система OS Level которой больше. Если имя не было отрезолвлено то машина грубо говоря кричит на всю сеть «Кто здесь?» или лучше сказать «Ты тут?» на что машина с запрашиваемым именем должна ответить « Я тут и у меня такой-то IP». На самом деле все веселее, например представим такую ситуацию когда машина которая была мастербраузером по каким-либо причинам внезапно отключилась от сети? Все сеть можно сказать парализовано до тех пор пока на какой-нибудь машине в сети не придет в голову устроить «перевыборы». Но это еще полбеды, а если в сети 300-400 компьютеров и в сети есть потери? Правильно перевыборы винды будут устраивать чуть ли не каждые 30 секунд. Сеть при этом будет достаточно сильно притормаживать. Более того если вдруг в выборах победит машина на самом узком и самом некачественном канале. то вам остается только сочувствовать. В общем весь этот бред напомнил мне наше правительство, где тоже постоянные тайм ауты из-за выборов, дикие накладные расходы и Все это фоне просто ничтожного КПД. Собственно сервер WINS и призван решить все вышеописанные проблемы.

Проще говоря если у вас >1 ПК в сети (а темболее если их десяток) WINS может существенно сократить время затрачиваемое на обзор сети и выяснения кто в этой сети участвует и какие SMB ресурсы предоставляет. Особенно актуален WINS на WiFi ибо беспроводное соединение не предусматривает гарантированной доставки данных а броадксаст запросы не требует подтверждения то часть запросов “кто тут” или ответов на них может теряться, что в свою очередь в лучшем случае приведёт к длительному и неполному обзору сети, в худшем сделает невозможным нормальную работу сетевого окружения.

Работающий WINS сервер в вашей сети решит эту проблему.

Настройки пока не вынесены в морду, можно легко настроить wins из консоли следующим образом:

nvram_set SmbEnabled 1 – Включаем самбу
nvram_set 2860 WorkGroup <имя_рабочей_группы> – задаём рабочую группу
nvram_set 2860 SmbNetBIOS <имя_сервера> – задаём имя под который у нас будет светиться устройство в windows сети
nvram_set 2860 SmbString <описание> – произвольное описание серверера в сети windows
reboot – перезагружаем девайс

После загрузки в выводе ps должны присутствовать процессы smbd и nmbd.
Так же после всех проделанных процедур необходимо в настройках ваших ПК указать рабочую группу такую же как и рабочая группа которую вы задали на устройстве и перезагрузиться.
Настройки wins сервера будут выданы ПК по dhcp. Ну и как говориться почувствуйте разницу в скорости обзора сети с wins и без.

Как сменить WAN MAC адреса устройства:

nvram_set 2860 CHECKMAC NO – отключаем проверку маков при загрузке
nvram_set 2860 WAN_MAC_ADDR <новый адрес>
reboot

Начиная с версии 4.10.0 корректнее использовать команду fs change_mac <новый адрес> после чего устройство будет автоматически перезегружено.

Совместимые устройства


ВНИМАНИЕ!!! 
 Заливка данной прошивки в устройства отличные от Acorp WR-150N/300N может привести к полной неработоспособности устройства. Помните – вы действуете на свой страх и риск.

ВНИМАНИЕ!!!  Никакой поддержки для устройств отличных от продукции Acorp не оказывается. При обращении в ТП Acorp пожалуйста обязательно указывайте  СЕРИЙНЫЙ НОМЕР устройства и его полное наименование. 

Официально поддерживаемые устройства:
1) Acorp WR-150N
2) Acorp WR-300N

Так же сборка 2T2R от Acorp WR-300N может быть залита в WR-300NU. Однако в таком случае будет потеряна поддержка USB. Версии с USB для WR-300NU я не собираю и не публикую (и прошу тех кто собирает самостоятельно воздержаться от публикации). Причина в отказе Acorp от наших услуг до запуска версии с USB в производство (разработка и отладка не была оплачена). Плюс RT305x имеют весьма кастрированный контроллер USB (об ограничениях можно почитать в профильной теме на ixbt).

Начиная с 01.05.2012 никакой поддержки по устройствам ACORP так же не оказывается.

Последняя официальная версия для Acorp 2.5.1. Все более новые версии разработаны исключительно для индивидуального использования без участия Acorp. Устройства с USB на чипе RT3052 выпущены без нашего участия (использована версия ПО только для внутреннего тестирования).

ВНИМАНИЕ!!! Использование на роутерах собранных на RT3052 где производитель сэкономил и не установил радиатор (пример DIR-620) крайне не рекомендуется!

К RT305это не относиться, если вы конечно его не разогнали. Так же некоторые вендоры устанавливают RT3052, но аппаратно переключают его в режим 320МГц, в этом случае радиатор так же не нужен. При правильно спроектированной pcb тепло отводиться через плату, что так же при достаточной циркуляции воздуха (правильно спроектированном корпусе) снимает необходимость в радиаторе (как пример Acorp WR-300N). Однако я бы ставил радиатор на ВСЕ RT305x, хуже точно не будет.

В теории прошивка может работать на ЛЮБЫХ RT305x based маршрутизаторах с 4 или более мегабайтами Flash типа NOR или SPI и с 32Мб (на 16Мб устройствах работа не гарантирована и скорее всего корректно работать не будет) или более RAM. Однако крайне рекомендую приобретать устроства с объёмом оперативной памяти >=32Мб.

Начиная с ветки 4.5.х в Wive-NG-RTNL добавлена поддержка устройств построенных на чипах RT3350 и 3352. RT3350 проверена на DIR-300NRU rev B3, RT3352 на DIR620 rev D1 и no name китайце. Проверка выполнена пользователями.

Внимание, заливка прошивки осуществляется из сервисного меню uboot через консольный шнур. Никакой поддержки по этим чипам не оказывается т.к. у меня нет в наличии устройств на этих чипах.

Всё что вы делаете – делаете исключительно на свой страх и риск.

Сборки для RT3350 и RT3352 временно публикую лишь для демонстрации что никаких проблем о которых вещают господа из d-link данные чипы не имеют. И все проблемы у них исключительно из-за криворукости. Не даром в рунете данная контора давно имеет несколько имён нарицательных прекрасно раскрывающих суть.

Появившаяся поддержка RT3352 в wive лишь результат цепочки случайностей благодаря которым в свободном доступе оказался драйвер поддерживающий все современные ROC/SOC Ralink в одном флаконе.

Запомните:
1) Wive не имеет никакого отношения к ни к одному из “производителей” железа и особенно к NAG/D-Link/Upvel.
2) Поддержка того или иного железа в wive это лишь моё личное решение основанное на интересе или его отсутствии к конкретному набору логики и на необходимости решать свои личные задачи.
3) “Вынудить” меня поддерживать то или иное железо можно лишь одним способом – предоставить это самое железо, полный набор исходников без блобов, оплатить работу исходя из стоимости полных рабочих дней необходимых для реализации задачи.

Специально для пользователей дырлинков продолжающих нести ахинею по форумам на тему проблем в Wive. Никаких проблем с обрывами L2TP под нагрузкой в wive НЕТ. В wive использован другой планировщик CPU (такой же как во всех старших ядрах Linux) плюс проведена оптимизация контрака снимающая проблему лавинообразного роста нагрузки при увеличении числа сессий через туннели и очень давно добавлен полисер предотвращающий ситуацию с невозможностью обработки pppd LCP пакетов при критичной нагрузке на CPU.

Если проблема лично у вас наблюдается (что маловероятно при исправном железе на доступе у оператора и корретно работающих брасах) достаточно уменьшить на несколько ступеней порог срабатывания полисера (vpn->cpulimit). На стэнде даже при 1к сэссий и скорости близкой к полным 100Мбит полудуплекса обрывов соединения не наблюдается. Репортов о обрывах в прошивках в которых переехали на новый планировщик и подстроили под него полисер я так же не вижу.

ВНИМАНИЕ:
В 2.7.1.6 драйвере используемом для поддержки RT3352/RT5350 чипов выявлено несколько проблем которые возможно касаются только младших RT305x чипов. Я не имею возможности подтвердить или опровергнуть наличие ошибки в коде для RT3352 и более старших чипов т.к. не имею на руках ни одного устройства на этих чипах.

Начиная с ветки 2.5.х в Wive-NG-RTNL добавлена поддержка устройств построенных на чипах RT3883 и RT3662. Так же добавлена поддержка коммутаторов RTL8367MB в dual phy режиме что позволило полноценно запустить Wive-NG-RTNL на устройстве Asus RT-N56U.

На текущий момент поддержка этих устройств существует и развивается только в свободное время без какой-либо коммерческой поддержки.
